Get That Summer Body with Diet and Exercise!-Part1
It’s that time of year!
Summer is around the corner and you are getting worried about the way you
will look when all the winter clothing comes off! More
than likely, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year
celebrations have caused you to indulge more than you wanted.
Now you are left with a few unwanted additional pounds. Or maybe a
more than a few!
Well the good news is that it
can be done. The sooner you start the sooner you will
see results. There are many unhealthy or dangerous ways
you could lose the weight:
-Surgery
However, we will concentrate
on the healthy and most lasting way to lose those unwanted pounds.
Diet, exercise and a little bit of natural help that we will mention
later on.
I know diet and exercise are
booooooring! They take work and effort!
All this is true. But this combination is simply
the healthiest and most effective way of losing the weight and keeping it
off. Not glamorous, but it works.
When trying to lose weight,
one of the most important things is to focus on what you afre eating.
There is no need to starve yourself! Use your
common sense and you wll start seeing improvements. Stay
away from Junk Food. Fries taste great but as you well
know, they are not very good for your weight loss plans. So what to do?
Here are some basic guidelines:
-Eat Breakfast every day.
Make sure it’s of the healthy sort. Fruits and
oatmeal, Healthy cereal with low fat milk, Bacon egg
and cheese muffin…. No wait! Forget about that one!
You get the idea.
-Never allow yourself to
get hungry. Always have some healthy snacks around.
Keep fruits, nut, raisins or any of those awesome new low fat snacks
around. You know the ones! Go to
your grocery store and get those handy 100 calorie bags of fake cheetos,
Oreos, ginger bears….. They taste pretty good too!
-Mix in lots of fresh
veggies with every meal. They will keep you full and
they are for you.
-Stick to lean meats. I
know that rack of ribs at the cafeteria looks great but you should probably
go for the grilled chicken breast with a good healthy salad.
The point is that if you feel
like you are depriving yourself, you will have a hard time sticking to it.
Keep your eyes on the prize and you will find it much easier to make
these changes. The more you do this, the more it will
become a part of your life. Over time, it will no longer
be dieting!
